I love this yarn. It's very fun to knit with. Nina are you ready? They almost are!
I love this version - it has ribbing on the top in a diamond pattern to keep it snug around the ankle. This, I'm hoping, will make it not bunch up when they are worn with clogs.
yummy yarn. what kind is it and does it come in a multicolor version??? i so admire anyone who can knit...and making socks seems to be the ultimate in knitting!!!
ReplyDeleteLaura, It is called Soles & More by Sensations. I also like Trampoline 'stretch'. There is another that it cotton and has great colors, but I don't have the sleeve for it. I like the small yarn shops for good variety of sock yarns.
ReplyDeleteI carry a sock in the car - and have it there for when we are waiting...or out and I'm not in constant demand. I keep it there and have found it gets done almost faster than the project I have going in the house!
Have fun with them, they are addictive yet make great gifts. Check out http://www.wendyjohnson.net/blog/sockpattern.htm. This pattern is great because you can use whatever weight yarn and know when to work the heal and all. Once you get how to do patterns, you can add your own. Am I getting ahead of myself?! Sorry.
Enjoy!
