Know that I have undoubtedly forgotten some of the things...but I've tried to include all I remember...
August 07: We move to this beautiful area! We arrive before our cars and are put up in temp housing by Jeff's employer (thankfully). Our cars are delayed by a few weeks, so we are without a car (the kids and I) for a bit and find that we are still enjoying our time! We get to swim at the pool, had friends from out of town over, convince our friends (Kate and kids) to meet us for the first time for a swim at the complex pool, Auntie Mary and Uncle Jimmy come and see our temporary pad and have dinner with us!! How cool is that! Most of the month is taken up with finding a place (thanks to Toni who showed me many houses and condos) getting details of our car delivery, household goods delivery and adjustment to the new area stuff. We do have the chance to get to Lego Land - and promptly get passes because it's so cool - and because the kids love it! Both Jeff and I are amazed at how well the kids are doing. We do, however, talk about and call our McGreevy friends in TN quite often because we do miss them terribly.
