Still trying to real my thoughts in and try and talk in a way that makes sense! Last night I made a list of things and while I wait for the nachos to melt, I'll write a bit.
Kade: Went to the Blind Onion and ate pizza and played pool with Gardenia, Jim, Cameron and Ella. He visited the pirate ships and lowered and raised the anchor with Jeff, Cameron and Ella. He went swimming with tons of friends. He enjoyed exercising in the exercise room with Cameron and Ella. He was in the talent show and battled Jeff with Cameron. We took the light sabers and had duels in our room and everywhere with any and all who would play. He made paper bag puppets and is thrilled that we managed to get it home in tact! He watched Evan Almighty on the tv and laughed much. He helped build the cardboard fort with Cameron, Ella and (especially, he says) Jim. He loved hanging out with Andrew, Cameron, Ella, Cody, Jasper, Simon and Linnaea. I was particularly excited that he and Cameron really enjoyed playing with each other!
Kai: Went to the Vancouver farmers market with Robin and Michelle Bently. He watched InuYasha(?) with Michelle. Played in the balloon sword madness funshop. Rode a razor scooter WAY farther than I could see during the Roll on Anything funshop. Walked to Starbucks with Jeff and saw tons of things along the way. Walked under the high-way to Joe's Crab Shack. Watched Evan Almighty with us in the room...the only thing we did together in the room. Kai was seen roaming with the cluster of kids: Andrew, Cody, Jasper, Simon, Linnaea, and Michelle.
Nachos are done, so have to go.
